Fast forward 30 years, and nothing has changed except that it's called Kaiser.

The doctors are all fresh out of residency, inexperienced and must abide by a lot of bureaucratic rules and red tape. It takes forever to get seen. And once you do get seen, you are shuttled in and out like a sheep. Unless you happen to have a textbook issue to treat, good luck. I also suspect that they retain their best providers for those who can afford their Cadillac plans, although I have no way to prove it.

For those who opt for one of their more affordable Medicare Advantage plans, good luck. My advice: if you're close to Medicare age and like your current provider, stay with that provider into Medicare. It will be well worth your while.

A few weeks ago, I levied a negative review of medical care being provided by Kaiser Permanente. I extend an apologize based on the following reasons: Upon hearing of my complaints, I was immediately contacted by medical staff members expressing concern over my complaints. Without delay, my personal physician and others, identified and eliminated the sources of my frustrations. I'm impressed by the urgency with witch my complaints have been addressed.

Apparently, my issues had festered due to miscommunications and a level of misunderstandings on my part. Again, I extend my apology based on the speed with which my frustrations were identified and resolved. Thank you very much. The hospital is not clean the staff is rude especially in emerging.

Do not have your medication mail from this hospital it takes three weeks to receive your medication. I asked them for a walking cane because my leg has swollen the reply i got was I won't give you anything! This was in the emergency room.

I have been with Kaiser formerly known as Group Health for over 40 years. For the first time ever I have misplaced my Multiple Sclerosis Medication. I called them and they said I needed to complete a police report for lost medication. I did that. They then informed me I would be responsible for the cost since Kaiser insurance does not cover lost or stolen medicine.

I can't afford that. The caveat is if I go off the medicine for 14 days I then need to be monitored for six hours upon my first dose again. The pharmaceutical said they would send me an emergency dose out for free once I got the prescription from my pharmacy. Kaiser said they will not do that because then it voids my existing prescription. I think I may have thrown it out on accident. With MS, it's easy to be "spacey" when tired.

The bottle also was extremely light. I am livid. I know run the risk of having an MS exasterbation, not being able to care for kids and work. I have to wait over two weeks to refill. This has proven Kaiser does not care about their patients. I have always stood up for Kaiser but I will never recommend them to anyone after this.

Pharmacy lacks modern drugs, and doctors don't perform modern procedures. Bad service all around. Please take to any other insurance; this place is only for the desperate! Products used: I ended up using an out of network doctor I have been to other emergency rooms with other health facilities and I know almost all excluding Alexandria Hospital have some kind of a wait issue, but absolutely nothing compared to what I am experiencing right now at the new Kaiser Caton Hill facility at Woodbridge.

I was called to my son's school with a leg injury. We came to this facility at almost 10am, did x-rays and have been waiting since with my son in pain. It is almost 2pm and when you approach staff, they tell you we don't have a rooms. All those who came after us have been cared for and left. Customer service is non-existence.

If I have a choice I will never ever be here wasting a whole day for an injured foot at the urgent care. I think it will serve Kaiser well to go learn from Alexandria Hospital how they take less than an hour on average to take in and out emergency patients.

This is a huge disappointment and waste of time! As I am writing, we have not been called, still waiting! It's like a nightmare, and if I make it out of this alive I will be so thankful. It's as though you're left fending for yourself with your healthcare.

You have to guess a lot because they don't answer you back. Quality of Service is Horrible at Best 1. I keep my appointment time, but the wait time is more than 30 min every time.

They don't pick up the phone. I left the message to return calls, but they don't. I tried again and get message saying that their message box is full and cannot take any more messages. This is horrible service.

I am considering changing my provider.
