Monterrey, N. Conduent seems to have no definite future. They do not have a clear roadmap of what they have to achieve. They have lost a lot of their clients because of their new methodologies. If you do not have a job, feel free to join Conduent but if you are looking for a great carrier, do not join Conduent at all. Pros No work so you are paid for sitting idle.
No ethics. Operations driven. Not at all employee centric. Management is pathetic so is HR. Make false promises with employees. Dont give respect to any individual. Odd working hours. An organization where I see manager to put his legs on table and sleep. That explains what kind of organization it is. How hard you work you won't get any recognition for that. At first they hire you at a good salary and then dont do any increments from upcoming year. You will feel as if you are treated like a dog.
Please dont ever decide to join this organisation. Analyst Noida, Uttar Pradesh Jun 6, It is a worst place to work, no salary hike for long long years, People are sitting here without promotions over the years. No more career growth and promotions due to huge politics. Jobs are not safe here they can laid of people at any time just the way they did in May without any criteria, There is no job security and the Management is like Dictators.
This is my request Please Please Please No body ever join this company at all. It's been almost 4 months with Conduent, So far i realized this is nice place to work with. Since I am new to the organisation so it took a lot effort to understand the system as well as the functioning.
I am newly align to multiple clients so for me it's very challenging to understand the provisions of all the clients and I think I've done quite good. Pros Free Meal Vouchers. Cons Short breaks, Compensation. The Management is too influence oriented, company has odd working hours, policies change without any intimation and consult, HR has minimalistic involvement in day to day activities, they are in downsizing mode for more than a year.
I had a very bad experience working here, was recruited at senior analyst, they changed structure without any prior notice and made me analyst then took 2. Conduent is a directionless organization to work with. There is no future road-maps. Management is also not sure about the future of company.
Nepotism and buttering is on the peak. The hard and smart working employees are not valued as well as not getting promotion. Company is going to be shut down completely in coming 1 year or will be acquired by some large and good MNC having a great growth plan. Pros nothing. Cons no holiday not even national holiday, asked to work late hours with no extra pay.
To start with, the most amazing part of this company is it does not let you feel like you are a employee. It feels like a family. Work is good and great seniors to guide. You feel you are in safe hands. Management: Starting with the million dollar smile HR, they are amazing people.
Not sure how they manages to make sure each of us are being noticed, acknowledged, appreciated. Best HR i have ever worked …. No transparency in company policy and in term of Promotion.. Managers and above doesn't follow Punctuality , shift timing , shift hours but compels other employees to follow the same by imposing different different tools and reports. Company has very bad reputation in market for it's Foot licking culture. HR is puppet of Management's hand. I'm pregnant because they have this strict policy where you can only miss a certain number of hours in training before you are fired.
One girl's father was in the hospital and she was told she would have to quit in order to go see him. I rescheduled an appointment and informed them of the new date two weeks in advance, and they still tried to write me up for missing work. You have to constantly remind managers of accommodations The customers curse you out and you're not allowed to respond without getting in trouble.
I had issues with my pay for over a month that I had to keep reminding my supervisors to resolve. To date Im still missing back pay. Then when I tried to file my Short Term Disability, for my maternity leave it was denied because Conduent has the wrong information in my file and neglected to tell their staff that they have a 6month look back period.
So my pregnancy is considered a "preexisting" condition. When you call HR they looped around in circles before you actually speak with someone. The customers are rude, yes I'm used to If you work here full-time, expect to be given part-time hours for at least half of the year. This company doesn't have the funds to pay their employees so they cut everyone's hours across the board and have been doing this for years.
At random times of the week and at random times of the day, you will have hours removed from your schedule, in which you are not allowed to work for an hour or two in the middle, beginning, or end of your shift, basically whenever the time management team decides is when you will have time off during the day at hours in which you could have been earning money at a different normal company that schedules you full-time because that is what you signed up for.
They try to justify doing this by claiming it is the better alternative than having to lay people off even though people in the company expressed they would rather have lower-performing workers laid off so we can have full-time hours if that is the case. If that's even the reason and not because they want to cut costs and prevent having to pay people over time, which you end up having to work overtime most days because of the type of calls you have to take but you don't get paid overtime because the hours are cut in a way where they legally are not required to anymore, which is just unethical.
Management seems over the top also. You can have one bad day out of thousands or one bad interaction and you are threatened with termination because of it.
I would not suggest this job if you value your Adviser Raleigh, NC Nov 25, The training and management at this company is the worst I have ever seen in many years in the business world. The only thing they focus on is making sure you are taking a call so they can bill their client for minutes.
The supervisors are nothing more than monitors, ie, they spend all of their time monitoring metrics. Additional training if needed is non-existent. Senior Management is totally non-responsive to making critical changes needed in Call Centers and in their training program.
In my opinion, Senior Management has no idea what the true situation is at their Call Centers. The company is on the verge of going under, i. The last financial quarters have shown a strong negative trend. This company has significant turn-over because of the manner in which they treat their advisers.
Advisers quickly learn the true story about the company and start immediately seeking another job. They are underpaid based upon their responsibilities and they see very limited advantage to seek a higher level position. Hopefully the new Senior Management brought into the company can reverse the negative trends.
However, I doubt they will drill down deep enough to see the true causes of their problems. I have major reservations that the investors will not continue to tolerate the downward direction of the company. Middle management and Directors is where significant changes are needed. The whole picture could improve quickly with the right Horrible Management and support. I was told we would receive weeks of training and support before we got on the phones to help customers and that was a lie.
My class was thrown straight into production without the follow up support and promised training.. The supervisors and Head manager who should be fired have not been.. During the pandemic they have taken the time to micro manage us our site manager dragged her feet and made the process to work from home difficult and long, while supplying faulty hardware, on a system that barely works and still are told to maintain numbers although they know the system is horrible.
Pros cant think of any Cons healthcare is horrible, management is unprofessional, computers are old, and no support. The most recent Site Director was not a good leader. He looked out for his friends and gave them management positions even though there were several qualified candidates that had been with the campaign and knew the products for years.
He brought in supervisors and managers that had never been through product training for a position that requires you to answer questions about the product. After six months, one of his supervisors was given a management position. Another one of the managers was employed for a year and no one on site can really tell you what he actually did. The director was loud and didn't listen well. If it wasn't his idea, he didn't like the suggestion. He was constantly changing things.
He was give a directive on Monday and if the performance wasn't where he wanted it by Wednesday another directive would be given. He had unrealistic expectations. Management didn't do a good job of training and developing employees for growth.
There are several supervisors that have been in their role for years and are constantly overlooked for promotions. One of the OM's has been in his position for 5 years and he hasn't done anything to help the tenured employees out.
Conduent's hiring process is a fraud. When I applied I was sent thru their website to apply. I was contacted from a Conduent rep who gives you an interview date at their place of business but when I showed up, I was directed to an office located within Conduent's building that was run by Adecco.
They offered me a position immediately with salary and schedule info of M-F 6 am pm. The problem is Conduent wasn't hiring me, apparently Adecco was and for a different position then what I applied for. Apparently Conduent uses Adecco as their temp agency, which you have no knowledge of, nor informed of prior.
When I asked a Conduent manager she informed me what Adecco told me was incorrect, including hours and schedule All schedules required mandatory weekends and rotating hours. It was only a temp with little hopes of staying on after their pharmacy plan enrollment period is over at EOY. I have never applied to Adecco, never contacted Adecco. Adecco's name never even came up until I was sitting at this poorly run interview.
So Conduent forwarded my resume onto Adecco. I was very upset and would never apply to any job at Conduent ever, do yourself a favor look elsewhere. Lack of trust and professionalism. Pros none. Cons hiring process, salary. Advisor Raleigh, NC Aug 3, Unless you're going to be homeless avoid this place at all costs. Tenured advisors and support staff are dropping like flies from them. Horrible incompetence from the top down. Absolutely no regard for anyone's personal lives or situations. Rules are strict and only enforced when they feel like it.
Freedoms given and taken away quick enough to cause whiplash. Schedule changes at the drop of a hat. No one can properly do their jobs because of restrictions and ever changing regulations. Promotions are given out of favoritism. Some people get fired for being 1 minute late a few times and some people are still there regardless of what they do. Preach open door policy but will do petty little things behind your back to get you out without looking like retaliation.
Going to HR is a death sentence. Health insurance is amazing and that is how they trap you. Competitive without being livable wages and health insurance you can't afford otherwise so you can't leave. It eats your soul. The only bearable thing about the place are your co-workers.
